As a guy, I’m sure the idea of working out must have crossed your mind in the past but for some reason you didn’t act on it. The fact remains that the hardest thing about working out or exercising is the motivation to start and not the exercise itself.

I’m not asking you to compete for the “world strongest man” or to get Popeye-like muscles but at the same time moderate workouts will do just fine and with consistency, you’re going to see results that you like.

Of course, there are loads of health benefits that come from working out and exercising but I’m not a medical doctor so let’s leave that aside. There are other tons of benefits that come with regular exercise and I’ve compiled some of my personal favorites in this post.

1. It Makes You More Attractive (Of course 🤷🏽)

No matter who you are or what you looking like. You can always look better with the help of exercise.

Exercise can help you look more fit and also help with your posture. These are things that affect how attractive you are, especially as a guy.

Exercise also helps provide nourishment for your skin so we know part of the reasons why celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Cristiano Ronaldo have glowing skin 🙂

There are no statistics but I can tell you that a girl is more likely to be attractive to someone that looks fit.

2. Confidence Boost

A lot of people are insecure because of things like weight and posture but the good news is that these are things that you can control.

I can testify that working our will make you feel better about yourself and more confident as time goes by. That’s one if the ways to tackle insecurity and get your energy up.

3. Your Sex Life

Now that I have your attention :), it’s proven that exercise can help improve your sex life and drive as a man in numerous ways.

For starters and without getting into the details, regular exercise will improve your stamina and sex drive.

Also sex is a two way street. Women tend to enjoy sex more when they are attracted to their partner and regular exercise is one of the ways for you to look better “as a guy”.

Another perk of working out is that it improves your self confidence and confidence in your body as mentioned earlier. That can only do good things to your sexual performance.

4. It’s A Great Hobby

Life is full of sh*t, this is why it will do everyone a lot of good to find something that they enjoy doing AKA a hobby.

Exercise is one of my personal favorite hobbies because it kills a lot of ‘birds’ with just one stone. Firstly, I’ve proven this myself that having a hobby like working out makes anyone a lot more interesting as a person. It’s definitely a boost to your ‘social CV’.

It’s also a good opportunity to meet and learn from new people including the potential love of your life. I’ve seen countless men find love in the four walls of a gym.

5. It’s Better Than Not Working Out🤷🏽

I know it sounds weird but hear me out guys. If you have free time on a regular basis, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t include regular workouts in your to-do list.

Exercise is a very good use of your free time because it will make you feel better, look better and it won’t be too too much of a task if you move at your own pace.

6. Feeling Accomplished

Life is full of sources of positive and negative energy. You can create a source of positive energy by working out regularly.

It’s about to get a bit medical. It has been proven that exercise causes a release of dopamine which is a ‘feel good’ hormone in the body. Who doesn’t want to feel good?

In general, exercise makes you feel better whenever you do it. You also feel accomplished after every workout completed and trust me this is a good feeling.

After seeing all the benefits that come with working out or exercising on a regular basis, the choice to make is pretty obvious.
